Support Illinois Tech Teams at the University Pitch Madness Competition

Congratulations to the four student startups from Illinois Tech that have been selected to compete in the University Pitch Madness Chicago 2019 competition on Tuesday, July 30, hosted by Illinois Tech!

Startup teams from seven universities will compete for prizes totaling $10,000. The event will feature an IPRO-style exhibition by all of the student teams entered in the competition, audience voting for the finalists (one from each university), and the finalist teams delivering their pitches to a panel of judges for the prizes.

Admission is free for students—Register at Eventbrite to attend.

The four Illinois Tech teams in the competition are:
AXS Modern—Xavier John and Basmala Ahmad
ecoPAX—Muhammad Rafiul Islam Zareef
Kolosseum—Jack Critzer and John Wolf
Saverr4Angels—Ahmed Lodhika and Ahsan Lodhika

Location: Hermann Hall at Illinois Tech

Schedule:

4–6 p.m.—Reception, all teams pitch, and audience voting for finalists
6:30–8 p.m.—Keynote Speaker Evan Wray (chief executive officer and co-founder of Mavely) and finalist pitches

The competition will feature student teams from Illinois Tech, DePaul University, the University of Illinois, the University of Iowa, Michigan State University, the University of Notre Dame, and Purdue University.
