    Professor Raymond A. Adomaitis Receives Charles W. Pierce Distinguished Alumni Award

    At a special seminar on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 the IIT Armour College of Engineering Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering presented the Charles W. Pierce Distinguished Alumni Award to Professor Ray Adomaitus, who received his bachelor's degree from IIT in 1984 and his doctorate in 1988.

  • 2013 Ralph Peck Lecture

    Join the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering for the 2013 Ralph Peck Lecture and the Excellence in Teaching Awards and Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony on Monday April 15 from 3:15–4:30 pm in Perlstein Hall Auditorium. The Peck Lecture will be presented by Purdue University's G. V. "Rex" Reklaitis, Courtesy Professor of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy and Edward W. Comings Professor of Chemical Engineering. A reception will immediately follow the lecture in Perlstein Hall lobby.

    Join the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering for the 2012 Ralph Peck Lecture, "Protein Analogous Micelles: Versatile, Modular Nanoparticles," presented by Matthew Tirrell of University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, at 4 pm on Friday, April 20 in Perlstein Hall. The 2012 Ralph Peck Lecture event also includes a student poster competition at 2 pm and presentation of the Charles W. Pierce Distinguished Alumni Award to T. S. Ramakrishnan, followed by a reception.
