    The Office of Research is searching for faculty judges for the IIT Research Day Student Poster Competition. The competition will be held Wednesday, April 24 and judges may arrive any time between 12:45–2:15 pm. The total time commitment is expected to be less than 30 minutes.

    Judges Needed for IIT Research Day Student Poster Competition

    The IIT Office of Research is searching for faculty and staff to help recognize the hard work of IIT students and provide valuable feedback by serving as judges for the IIT Research Day Student Poster Competition. The competition is divided into graduate and undergraduate tracks and includes students from various academic departments. Three winners from each track will receive cash awards and plaques.

  • IIT Research Day – Sigma Xi Lectures and Awards

    IIT Research Day, sponsored annually by the Graduate College, Office of Research Support Services, will be held from 1 - 4 pm on Wednesday, April 18 at the IIT Tower and University Technology Park's Technology Business Center atrium. Research Day begins with a student poster session, with both graduate and undergraduate tracks.

  • WBEZ Reporter Gabriel Spitzer to Present Sigma Xi Lecture at IIT Research Day

    Gabriel Spitzer, creator of WBEZ's Clever Apes and reporter at KPLU Seattle, will present this year’s Sigma Xi lecture, “Science into Stories: The Human Angle on Research and Discovery,” from 2:30 - 3:30 pm on Wednesday, April 18 in the IIT Tower Auditorium.
