The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will continue its Seminar Series on Friday, September 7 from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in Siegel Hall, Room 118, featuring guest speaker Zhiyi Li, senior research associate at the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation at Illinois Tech.
Li will discuss modern power systems that have been undergoing the transition to smart grids which are by nature cyber-physical systems where physical processes in power grids and information flows in communication networks are tightly coupled for enabling the overall system functionality.
Lunch will be served.
