Tuition Exchange 2012

Illinois Institute of Technology is a member of the Tuition Exchange, a nonprofit organization of over 600 colleges and universities that agree to a reciprocal scholarship program. Visit www.tuitionexchange.org for a listing of participating schools and more details about how the exchange works. The number of tuition exchange scholarships will be based on the number of students from the Tuition Exchange program from other participating institutions that enroll at IIT each year. Faculty and staff may apply for an eligible dependent subject to the criteria below. To be a candidate for a tuition exchange scholarship through IIT, a family member must be an eligible employee at IIT.

Eligible Employee
Any full-time faculty or staff member meeting the below-listed minimum years of full time employment at IIT by January 1 of the year for which the dependent is a candidate.

  • Faculty – 2 years
  • Staff – 2 years

Eligible Dependent

  • Any born or adopted child of an eligible IIT employee. The child must be a dependent as defined by the IRS. (Appropriate proof may be requested)
  • The award is for new first year students and continuing students, although preference will be given to new first year students

Application Process for Awards for Fall of 2013
Employees wishing to apply for Tuition Exchange should download the application form from the HR portal page (must be logged in to the myIIT portal to access).

Only completed applications received in Human Resources by Monday, November 12, 2012 will be considered. Awards will be announced by November 16, 2012. You may fax your application to 312-567-3450 or scan and email it to hr@iit.edu.
