The application deadline for the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ILSAMP) Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program has been extended to Wednesday, October 31. The ILSAMP Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program is specifically related to research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The application must be thoroughly completed. A well-written application is critical for acceptance into the ILSAMP Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program. Although students may work with their faculty mentors to complete the ILSAMP application, the application must be written and completed from the student’s perspective. Applications written by the student’s advisor will not be accepted. Please note, this program is competitive in nature and not all applicants may be funded.
Students who have worked on an undergraduate research project are eligible for the ILSAMP Undergraduate STEM Scholarship program. Typically, the scholarship amount ranges from $1,000 to $2,000.
