Upcoming Vaccine Clinics at Illinois College of Optometry

The Illinois College of Optometry is hosting a vaccine clinic in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) on August 27 and September 17 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

A single does of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be available to anyone ages 12 and over. Registration is available at this link. The clinic has capacity for a limited number of walk-ins and registration is strongly encouraged.

The clinic will take place in the Illinois College of Optometry Gymnasium at 3421 S. Michigan Ave., near Illinois Tech’s campus. Community members coming to the clinic should enter through the Illinois Eye Institute entrance, near the parking lot on Michigan and 32nd St., NOT the college entrance on Indiana Ave.  There will be signage.

For those receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on August 27 and would like to return for the second dose on September 17, registration on the website for both dates is strongly encouraged.
