NOTICE: With a few buildings on Mies (Main) Campus being renamed their code in Banner needs to be updated. See below for details and timelines.
The full name of the building formerly known as Engineering 1 or E1 is now officially called the John T. Rettaliata Engineering Center, following the formal dedication on September 25, 2015. Effective with the start of the spring 2016 semester, the familiar building code of E1 will also be changed to RE for all shorthand references, publications, and reporting purposes regarding the Rettaliata Engineering Center.
Likewise, you may have noticed references to the Mies Campus, formerly known as Main Campus. This change took effect with the start of the fall 2015 semester and will require no adjustment to the campus code of MC for shorthand references, publications, and reporting purposes.
The Life Sciences Building will be renamed the Robert A. Pritzker Research Center in the spring or summer of 2016. Once the building is officially renamed and dedicated, the building code of LS will be changed to PR, effective with the start of the fall 2016 semester.
A comprehensive update of campus signage is forthcoming at a later date.
