The first Faculty Lounge session of 2021 will focus on the issue of academic integrity, and methods and techniques to guide students to submit original work. When classes are online and most student work and tests are completed outside the physical classroom, the opportunity for students to pass off other’s work as their own is all-too easy. Overcoming this is a frustrating task for instructors who have already been asked to adapt, and adapt, and adapt some more. Listen to our panel of fellow instructors at Illinois Tech who have found useful solutions to this pernicious issue, and bring your questions to the group. Questions will be moderated by Joseph Orgel, Professor of Biology and Biomedical Engineering and Deputy Vice Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Student Success.

The Faculty Lounge is hosted by the Center for Learning Innovation.
