Visiting Fellowship Opportunity at the DePaul Humanities Center

DePaul University is inviting scholars to apply for a visiting fellowship during the 2019–2020 academic year. The fellowship is open to any and all individuals possessing a Ph.D., including faculty, adjuncts, and graduate students (ABD with degree in hand by September 1, 2019, for fall/year-long fellowship and January 1, 2020, for January–June 2020 fellowship).

The DHC Visiting Fellow program is generally a sabbatical/leave-based position, as there is no large stipend associated with this position. However, apart from the mutual benefits of being engaged with DePaul’s vibrant local intellectual community in the heart of Lincoln Park in Chicago, visiting fellows will be given an office in the DePaul Humanities Center with computer, staff support, library privileges, and an honorarium of up to $3,000 ($1,000 per quarter) to support the public presentation of fellows’ works (with at least one public lecture supported and expected of all visiting fellows) and for participation in other DHC programming.

The application deadline for the fellowship is Friday, January 25, 2019. Please contact OSRP if you are interested in applying for this fellowship.
