As part of our continued efforts to strengthen Illinois Tech’s brand identity, we will be transitioning our email domain from @iit.edu to @illinoistech.edu, effective June 20, 2025.

What You Need to Know

Faculty and Staff: Your new primary email address will be uid@illinoistech.edu.

Students: Your new primary email address will be uid@hawk.illinoistech.edu.

These new addresses will be used for all communications and to access university systems and services.

You will still receive messages sent to your current @iit.edu and @subdomain.iit.edu addresses, but you will no longer be able to send emails from these older domains after the transition date.

Rest assured no emails will be lost during this transition.
