The Illinois Tech Women’s Tennis team traveled to play one of the top teams in the Midwest on October 3, taking on UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks downed Illinois Tech 8-1.

Illinois Tech’s only win of the day was in #1 singles. Weronika Halicka won a tightly contested match 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (7). Halicka and Morgan Colbert also played a tough #1 doubles match, falling 8-6.

The Scarlet Hawks will be in action again on Saturday, October 7 at Judson College. The match is set to begin at 9 a.m.
