The Illinois Tech Women’s Volleyball team moved to 11-11 on the season with two impressive wins on October 8. Illinois Tech defeated Berea and Wright St. (Lake) in straight sets at the St. Mary of the Woods tournament.

• Irena Grauzinis led the Scarlet Hawks with 18 kills while also tallying a .283 hitting percentage.
• Courtney Darling added 29 assists.
• Reya Green led Illinois Tech with 14 digs.
• Courtney Curcio totaled 13 digs and four kills on a .667 hitting percentage.

Stats to Know – Berea Match

• The Scarlet Hawks recorded eight aces in the three sets while allowing just one.
• Illinois Tech hit .284% while Berea hit just .019%.
• Illinois Tech won the kills tally 36-20.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts – Wright State (Lake) Match

• Grauzinis once again led the Scarlet Hawks with 13 kills while tallying a .375 hitting percentage.
• Jelena Vujicic had a strong match with a 11 kills and a team-high .455 hitting percentage.
• Darling added 29 assists for the second straight match. She also chipped in three aces.
• Alyssa Miner led Illinois Tech with four aces and three blocks.

• The Scarlet Hawks outhit Wright State (Lake) .366% to -.090%.
