13 Straight Days, 295 Hours – Library Hours for Study and Finals Week

Galvin Library will be open for 13 straight days, 24 hours a day starting at noon on Sunday, November 29. The library will not close until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 11. The library will remain open continuously on both levels for 13 straight days, or 295 straight hours for all your studying needs.

You can study in groups or as an individual, find a quiet spot or take over an area with study partners, sit in a bean bag or at a table, bring your laptop or iPad, or use one of ours. However you choose to study and prepare for finals, you can do it 24 hours a day on the upper or lower level of the library.

Check the library’s hoursreserve a group study room, or see if your textbook on reserve is being used. Public safety offers escorts to the dorms, the parking lots and the train platforms from Galvin Library. Remember to bring your IIT Hawkcard ID for entry between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. For security purposes, no one will be admitted without an ID.
