2016 Performance Reviews

Human Resources has partnered with the Office of Technology Services (OTS) and the project management team of PeopleAdmin, INC. to upgrade from our current version 5.8 of the talent management suite (position descriptions, performance evaluations and recruitment) to the latest version 7.0. Some of the benefits that users will realize are:

  • Ease of use – The 7.0 version is more user friendly and evaluations are not “lost” between steps
  • Multi-rater functionality – Supervisors can obtain feedback from other raters that is considered in the employee’s evaluation. This is handy in dotted and solid line reporting relationships
  • Integration with Banner – the two systems will talk to each other allowing a more efficient way of keeping the two systems synchronized

The new system will go live on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 and that will be the first day that employees can begin a self evaluation. Training sessions will be held shortly before the launch date. Details will be provided closer to the go live date. All reviews and evaluation discussions must be completed by June 1, 2016. If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources (hr@iit.edu). The following schedule can be used as a guideline for the completion of the reviews:

  • Tuesday, April 5 through Friday, April 15: employees complete self evaluation and supervisors can solicit multi-rater feedback, if applicable
  • Saturday, April 16 through Friday, April 29: supervisors prepare evaluations
  • Saturday, April 30 through Friday, May 13: reviewing officer completes the second level review
  • Saturday, May 14 through Tuesday, May 31: evaluation discussions
  • Wednesday, June 1: all evaluations completed
