Institute for Food Safety and Health Honored as Co-Recipient for 2018 Midwest Food Matters Leadership Award

Illinois Tech Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) was honored as a co-recipient with the Flying Food Group for the 2018 Midwest Food Matters Leadership Award. The award ceremony was held at the Hilton Chicago on November 13. This award is presented annually by the Global Midwest Alliance to companies or entities that have demonstrated leadership in promoting and supporting the food industry in the Chicago area and the Midwest. All of the net proceeds of the organization’s 2018 campaign will support key nonprofit business development initiatives that will help the food industry grow and thrive including the creation of the Sue Ling Gin Scholarship in Food Safety at IFSH. Past recipients of this award include Abbott Nutrition (2017), John B. Sanfilippo & Son (2016), and Griffith Foods Worldwide (2015).
