Employers have long used digital technology to manage their hiring decisions, and now many are turning to new predictive hiring tools to inform each step of their hiring process . Unfortunately, these tools reinforce bias. Join us and explore how popular predictive hiring tools used by many employers currently affect equity. Upturn senior quantitative analyst, Mingwei Hsu and Chicago-Kent College of Law visiting assistant professor of law Alex Franco will offer recommendations for further scrutiny and reflection.
