Advance Notice of Special Maintenance Hours Beginning February 22

Beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 22 Illinois Institute of Technology will be performing upgrades on Xtender and Reports Manager. These upgrades will affect some of the systems that you use on a regular basis and make their services unavailable. Due to the complexity of these upgrades, they cannot be done during the normal technology maintenance window.

The university is providing you with this advance notice, so you have time to plan accordingly.

The maintenance will take place from February 22 at 9 p.m. (CST) through Saturday, February 24 at 11 a.m. (CST).

The Office of Technology Services’ (OTS) initial assessment has determined that the following systems will be impacted by the upgrade work:

  • February 22 at 9 p.m. through February 24 at 11 a.m.
    • Unavailable Services:
      • Xtender
      • Reports Manager
  • Friday, February 23 at 9:15 p.m. through February 24 at 11 a.m.
    • Unavailable Services:
      • myIIT portal
      • AppWorx
      • Banner Workflow
      • Banner INB
      • Jobsub server

Please note: Blackboard will not be affected by this maintenance work and will be available for normal use. However, since the myIIT portal will be unavailable, you must access the system by logging in to blackboard.iit.edu and then use your myIIT portal username and password.
