Annual Updates and Policy-Agreement Certifications Begin February 4

The first time you log into the myIIT.edu portal on or after Thursday, February 4, you will be prompted to complete a few important, required updates that are described below. After completing all of them, you will be logged out of your session and returned to the portal login page to re-enter your credentials.

Contact Information Updates

As you will see in the image below, you will be asked to update demographic information. Illinois Tech requests this to be able to reach our community members and their emergency contact(s) in the event of a personal emergency and to comply with Title IV federal regulations. Please follow the instructions and update your current address and phone number(s), as well as information for Missing Persons and Emergency Contact(s). This process is managed by the Office of Title IX and HEA Compliance.

Annual Agreement to Illinois Tech Policies

You will also be asked to review the university’s Standards of Ethics and Business Conduct policy and the Use of Technology Resources policy, the acceptance/re-acceptance of which allows the user to access/continue to access the university’s information-technology resources, including, but not limited to, Illinois Tech’s networks, portal, and voice services.

No matter how many devices you have, you will only need to perform the certifications once, on any one of your devices, and all of your devices will be covered.

Here is a screenshot of the temporary login dashboard prompting these updates and certifications.
