Pattie Piotrowski, assistant dean for public services, is leaving to become university librarian and dean of library instructional services at the University of Illinois Springfield. She has been an outstanding addition to the Illinois Tech community for 18 years.
Please join us on Thursday, June 23 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the Kemper Gallery on the upper level of Galvin Library to say goodbye to Pattie and celebrate her many contributions to the university.

Pattie is an Illinois Tech alum, receiving her MBA in 2007. She began her tenure as branch librarian at the Illinois Tech Rice Campus. She joined the team at Galvin Library in 2006 and began leading the Public Services Division.
From 2013–14, Pattie served as president of the Illinois Association of College and Research Libraries (IACRL), and starting Friday, July 1, will serve a yearlong appointment as president of Illinois Library Association (ILA).
