    Health Waiver to Opt Out of Student Health Insurance Plan Available Through January 12

    Illinois Tech is committed to the health and welfare of students and requires all students who register for one academic credit hour or more to have health insurance. The spring Student Health Waiver opens on November 27, 2024. Spring incoming students who do not wish to be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and have comparable health insurance have until Sunday, January 12, 2025, to opt out via an online waiver.
