Illinois Venture Capital Association Scholar Program Now Accepting Applications
October 8, 2024The IVCA Scholar Program places undergraduate students with a venture capital or private equity firm for 10 weeks. During this time, they participate in informational and networking sessions at various investment firms and professional services providers (accounting, investment banking, etc.). The program offers a deep dive into the industry, providing significant exposure to private equity or venture capital. Upon completion, students receive a $10,000 scholarship. -

HackRTC – Weekend Hackathon at Illinois Tech – Oct 5-6
September 24, 2024HackRTC is a weekend-long hackathon focused on creating real-time communications enabled hacks - prototype applications -utilizing software resources supplied by the HackRTC sponsors bringing together developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts over a weekend to create prototype solutions to real-world challenges, while providing a venue in which participants can showcase their skills, learn from industry experts, network with sponsors, and compete for prizes. Register to participate October 5-6. Prize winners will be invited to present their winning pitches to the Real Time Communications Conference on October 8.
