Community Desk Assistant Role Hiring for Spring 2026
November 11, 2025The Office of Residence Life is hiring student workers for the Community Desk Assistant (CDA) position for Spring 2026. CDAs will staff the first floor lobby desks at Illinois Tech's Residence Halls from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning (overnight). The hours available will primarily be midnight to 9 a.m. (overnight) Monday–Friday and varied on weekends. Applicants able to work during Summer 2026 session are preferred. -

Spring 2026 Only Housing Application Open Now
October 28, 2025The Office of Residence Life is pleased to announce the opening of the Spring 2026 Only application for housing. This application is for students who are arriving at Illinois Tech and wish to enter Illinois Tech housing for the first time this academic year (2025-2026). Students may use the link provided or search their Illinois Tech Dashboard under "Housing System". Please make sure to utilize your SSO. Please also note that 2nd year and above students entering Illinois Tech housing for the first time this academic year may be required to make a prepayment to reserve a room. Due to high occupancy, room selection will be a first-come first-serve manual placement process by preference and availability.
