Real Time Communications Conference at Illinois Tech Offers Opportunities for Students
August 26, 2025The Real Time Communications Conference (RTC) at Illinois Tech, an International Conference of the IEEE sponsored by the RTC Lab and by the Chicago Chapter of the IEEE, will be held in Hermann Hall on October 7–8, 2025. This conference is focused on real time multimedia applications as they embrace AI/ML, VoiceTech, the Quantum Internet and other emerging technologies. Opportunities for students include a poster competition and volunteering. -
SPEAK: Conversation Group starts on September 4
August 26, 2025SPEAK is a free weekly conversation group hosted by English Language Services. The goal is to create an opportunity to chat for international and domestic students, staff, and faculty. It is an excellent way to meet new people, learn something about different cultures, and practice communication skills. To enjoy free pizza, please register weekly (by 1 p.m. each Wednesday). Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship Contest for Illinois Tech Pre-Health Students
August 26, 2025The premedical advisory committee has one Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship available to award for students interested in taking a course to prepare for the MCAT. This scholarship is for the full cost of the course. Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course. The deadline to apply is Monday, September 15. -
