January 31, 2023, is the first monthly paycheck date of the new year. Staff members should review paystubs to ensure accuracy of any benefit changes made during open enrollment, new FSA elections, and 403(b) election changes. Any discrepancies must be reported along with a screenshot verifying successful completion of Open Enrollment no later than Tuesday, February 7.

Illinois Tech's Stuart School of Business will host a Hybrid Lunch and Learn event for Undergraduate Academic Advisors about Stuart Co-terminal programs. This event will take place on Wednesday, February 8, from noon to 1 p.m. on the 18th floor of Galvin Tower at Mies Campus.

The Office of Campus Life is working to compile a list of faculty or staff members who are interested in being an advisor for a student organization. The office is hoping to have a list of potential advisors to share with students creating a new organization or ones in need of a new advisor.

Human Resources is pleased to present a series of Financial Wellness courses, made possible by Illinois Tech’s partnership with PNC Bank. The first course of 2023, Understanding and Improving Your Credit Score, will take place at noon on February via Zoom.

Beginning on January 1, 2023, the standard mileage rates for privately owned vehicles while on official Illinois Tech business will be 65.5 cents per mile. Illinois Tech's Buy It Expense module has been adjusted to reflect the new rate.

A group of Illinois Tech Christian faculty and staff is sponsoring a prayer service on Wednesday, January 25, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Hermann Hall Alumni Lounge. This is open to all Illinois Tech faculty, staff, and students. Lunch will be provided.

To improve your experience and resolve the frequent “full-voicemail” message that callers, including our students, receive, on January 27, 2023, OTS will transition the community to receiving voicemail messages via email ONLY. This means that voicemail will no longer be delivered to your voicemail box, unless you specifically take action and request that service to continue by submitting a ticket to the OTS Support Desk/ITS Help Desk.

Illinois Tech will be hosting virtual appointments with Fidelity & TIAA, our 403(b) Retirement Plan vendors, for one-on-one retirement planning sessions this January and March. Sessions are free for all benefits-eligible faculty and staff regardless of retirement plan vendor election.
