Once a year Illinois Tech community members and affiliates must review two university policies and certify their agreement to those policies in order to obtain or continue their access to Illinois Tech’s wired and wireless networks.
The first time you log into the myIIT portal after 12:01 a.m. on January 28, you will see a pop-up screen with links to Illinois Tech’s “Standards of Ethics and Business Conduct” and “Acceptable Usage Policy.” After reading and understanding each of these policies, you must certify your agreement with each of them by clicking on the checkbox adjacent to each policy. Thereafter, pressing “Continue” will allow you to carry on with your portal business.
Users do not have to certify their agreement to the two Illinois Tech policies on each one of their devices, unless they have a device that is new to the network, which will need its own registration and certification. If users do not have a new device to register, certification of your agreement to the two policies on one of your devices will automatically carry over to reflect your agreement to the policies on all of your devices.
