Congratulations IIT 2011-2012 graduates!  The 2011-2012 Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 12 at Main Campus, and will also take place live on the web!

Streaming video of the main ceremony will be available on the commencement website live during the event. In addition, we encourage students and their families as well as IIT faculty and staff to share the experience using social media.  Share your thoughts, congratulations to graduates, video, and photos all this week and during the commencement events on Saturday.  You can share them on Twitter using the hashtag #IITGrads2012 or on the IITGrads2012 Facebook page.

During the commencement ceremonies, there will be a live feed of commencement-related social media posts on the commencement website along with streaming video of the main ceremony.  Friends and family not attending in person can not only watch the ceremony live but see the photos, videos, and thoughts of the participants as they post them online.  Be sure to direct anyone who wishes to watch online to the commencement website, and bring your smartphones to commencement!
