SWE Leadership Seminar: “Effective Personal Communications”

The seminar will give an overview about personal communication including email, face to face interactions, and phone communication. The information from the seminar can be applied to the workplace or for students who are striving for a job. Some of the techniques you will learn include the proper way to shake hands and how to leave a voice mail.

The speaker is Rossana Latham, a software engineer at Raytheon in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She began her involvement in SWE at the Indiana-Purdue University of Fort Wayne. She continued her involvement by being a member of the Collegiate Leadership Coaching Committee and is currently the Section Representative for SWE North East Indiana.

The seminar is most effective if the crowd participates, so get involved and ask questions!
