Faculty and Staff Invited to Attend Summer 2016 IPRO Day

Illinois Tech faculty, staff, alumni, and professionals from the Chicago area are invited to attend IPRO Day, with the option of serving as judges or stopping by as guests on Friday, July 29 from 10 a.m.-noon in the Atrium+IdeaShop at the Technology Business Center Building in University Technology Park. We are celebrating the work of 14 summer IPRO teams over the past two months.

The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program organizes multidisciplinary teams of undergraduate students to apply their creativity to complex, open-ended projects to tackle the challenges of our times. Guided by faculty members from an extraordinary diversity of fields, IPRO team projects this summer span community engagement, social innovation and technology development. Projects are impacting communities like Englewood, Chinatown and our own Mies (Main) Campus. Innovative concepts and prototypes encompass assistive technologies, safety and accessibility, neighborhood place-making, high school STEAM curricula, and a business model to capture HVAC condensate and create quality water solutions in developing countries.

Register to attend here.
