Bio

Kurt Deibel is vice president of the Food Safety & Quality function for Kraft Heinz North America, where he is responsible for quality and food safety for raw materials, innovation, and manufacturing, and leads programs related to regulatory compliance, labeling compliance, and food safety. In this talk, he will discuss how food safety and quality work collaboratively with other functions within a company (R&D, operations, legal, sales, marketing, procurement, etc.).

Prior to his current role, Deibel was the head of Innovation and Food Safety & Quality functions for Heinz North America. He holds a Ph.D. in food microbiology from The Ohio State University.
