Join the Illinois Tech community on Tuesday, July 26 from 2:30-4 p.m. in the Kemper Gallery (upper level of Galvin Library) to say goodbye to Benn Joseph, head of university archives and special collections (UASC), and Christine McClure, digital services librarian.

Benn is leaving to become head of archival processing at Northwestern University. His last day is Friday, August 12. Benn oversaw the transition of Galvin’s archive to University Archives and Special Collections (UASC), and broadened their collections policy and scope to include Bronzeville and the near South Side. He also acquired key papers from alumni and former faculty.

Christine will be moving on to DePaul where she will be coordinator, digital services. Her last day is Friday, July 29. Christine earned an MS in Information Architecture from Lewis College in 2015. Her master’s project discussed her work in designing and developing Galvin Library’s new website.
