IIT Online will host the first in a series of Brown Bag discussions for IIT faculty and staff on Copyrights, Classrooms and Your Rights from 12:45-1:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the IIT Online offices in Stuart Building, Room 103 on Main Campus.

Max King, systems librarian, and Devin Savage, assistant dean of assessment and scholarly communication, are members of the Paul V. Galvin Library’s new Scholarly Communication team. They will lead a conversation in order to strengthen their support of faculty research and teaching needs.

IIT Online will provide a remote, Internet participation option via Collaborate. Light refreshments will be served for attendees.

Additional Brown Bag discussions will meet on the third Thursday of each month and will focus on topics such as educational technology, pedagogy, and curriculum development. The sessions include presentations but are intended to be conversational.
