It is with sadness that we announce that IIT Online employee John Lauricella passed away on Saturday, August 3.

John worked at IIT for more that 10 years as a master control room supervisor with IIT Online. He was responsible for recording and quality control monitoring of audio and video signals for IIT distance-learning courses.

John is survived by his wife Michele and his family. He will be sorely missed by his friends at IIT Online.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, August 17 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 1420 West Granville Avenue in Chicago from 10:00–11:00 am, followed by a mass at 11:00 am. A reception in the social hall will follow the mass.
