The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago issued a resolution on May 16, 2013 at its board meeting in recognition of the IIT student entry in the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s 2013 Campus RainWorks Challenge. Students from IIT College of Architecture and the Landscape Architecture Program, IIT Armour College of Engineering and IIT Stuart School of Business, led by Studio Assistant Professor Mary Pat Mattson and Associate Professor Paul Anderson, were recognized for their first-place design of green infrastructure to manage stormwater on the campus of IIT.
