The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering would like to congratulate our ECE students Chloe Rubinowicz (EE, M.S. EE 5th Year), Saurabh Saluja (CPE, M.S. CPE 5th Year), Colin Prochnow (CCSE, M.S. CPE 5th Year), and Anthony Banuelos (CCSE, M.A.S. CYF 5th Year), along with their team members Kaya Jones (CS 2nd Year) and Katarzyna Staron (ME, M.S. ME 5th Year), who took first place at the Keysight Innovation Challenge. You can watch the video competition here.

The Keysight Innovation challenge is a global competition—52 teams submitted entries and 2,100 registrants from 106 countries—that challenges students to change the world and make a difference. Our students won for their project Tree of Life: Carbon Capture. The students won $30,000 in cash and $10,000 worth of Keysight equipment for the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Congratulations on such a momentous achievement!
