Important – Please Read: IIT-Secure Network Security Certificate Update

IIT-Secure and eduroam wireless networks on all Illinois Tech campuses will be updated with new security certificates on the morning of Thursday, July 21. These certificates ensure you are connected to a trusted wireless network and expire regularly to reduce the risk of being compromised.

You will be asked to ‘accept and trust’ the new network certificate needed to establish the secure wireless connection. Once accepted, you may notice a ‘Certificate Trust” error. You will then need to manually ‘trust’ the new certificate.

If you experience any difficulties, the Office of Technology Services (OTS) recommends that you connect to “IIT-Connect” and then run the “XpressConnect” utility.
