The Illinois Tech Office of Community Affairs has partnered with Organic Oneness for a day of service on Monday, January 16. We are looking for 160 volunteers to participate in the following activities: paint murals, create blessing bags for those without homes, organize spaces, and help beautify Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Let’s honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and keep the Dream alive! Be a part of service projects, make new friends, and honor the people in our lives. Let’s remember the past to help move our community forward with joy, determination, and encouragement!
CPS Service Sites include:
- Bronzeville Classical
- Donoghue Charter
- King High School
- Millison Elementary
- Reavis Elementary
- Timothy Community Corporation
All volunteers will meet at King High School and will be transported to their volunteer site.
