Lifeworks is Highlighting Mental Health Awareness Month this May

Lifeworks, Illinois Tech’s Employee Assistance Program, is Mental Health Awareness all month long this May. In addition to their Heartbeat Newsletter, which features resources like “Understanding Burnout” and a self-care infographic, they’ve launched a new Building Your Self-Care Toolkit microsite.

There will also be a live webinar on May 11 at 1pm CST called “Mental Health Trends During the COVID-19 Pandemic.” (you can register here). Be sure to check out the Heartbeat Newsletter for more on this month’s features, or to view past months’ topics.

As always, Lifeworks is available 24/7 for free and confidential assistance for Illinois Tech Employees and their families. Don’t forget the Lifeworks app, either. It’s available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, and allows you to access Lifeworks’ resources directly through your smartphone!

In addition to free, short term counseling services, Lifeworks offers a variety of work/life balance resources including life coaching, LIFT virtual fitness, and more.
