NEW: Make 403(b) Election Changes in Banner Self-Service

Benefits-eligible faculty and staff are now able to make changes to most 403(b) retirement plan contributions directly in Banner Self-Service (SSB). Through SSB, you can:

  • Add, change, or end unmatched contributions to TIAA and/or Fidelity
  • Update existing matched contribution rates for single vendor elections (e.g., update your TIAA election from 0% employee/5% university to 1% employee/6% university)

With the rollout of this new feature, the Office of Human Resources will no longer be accepting Salary Reduction Agreement forms for these types of changes. HR will continue to accept forms from individuals electing the match for the first time, those whose matched contributions are split between TIAA and Fidelity, and those who are electing the IRS maximum and would like assistance with calculations.
