    Community Desk Assistant Role Hiring for Spring 2026

    The Office of Residence Life is hiring student workers for the Community Desk Assistant (CDA) position for Spring 2026. CDAs will staff the first floor lobby desks at Illinois Tech's Residence Halls from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning (overnight). The hours available will primarily be midnight to 9 a.m. (overnight) Monday–Friday and varied on weekends. Applicants able to work during Summer 2026 session are preferred.

In honor of those who have dedicated themselves to service, Illinois Tech presents its 2025 Veterans Day celebration with an in-depth sit-down interview with Stuart School of Business Dean Rich Klein and Illinois Tech Life Trustee John P. Calamos Sr. (ECON ’63, M.B.A. ’70), a United States veteran who received the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
