Pritzker Prize-Winning Architect Thom Mayne Presents Today At Hermann Hall

Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne, founder and design director at the Los Angeles-based architecture firm Morphosis Architects, will present “W.I.P. #181 (Work in Progress). This is the first lecture in the IIT College of Architecture’s fall lecture series which begins today at 6pm in McCormick Auditorium at Hermann Hall.

Mayne will present new and completed projects that showcase the innovative use of forms and materials such as the Caltrans District 7 headquarters in Los Angeles, Phare Tower in Paris, 41 Cooper Square at the Cooper Union in New York, and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. This lecture is free and open to the public.
