Illinois Tech will perform critical database maintenance on Banner, beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 13. This maintenance will affect the majority of the systems that you use on a regular basis and make their services unavailable. Please take special note of the below-listed, important information, so you can plan your time accordingly.
The maintenance will take place from October 13 at 5 p.m. (CDT) through 10 a.m. (CDT) on Sunday, October 15.
The Office of Technology Services’ (OTS’) initial assessment has determined that the following systems will be impacted by the Banner maintenance work:
- Banner
- AppWorx
- Evisions/FormFusion
- myIIT portal
- Self-service Banner
- Banner INB
- Banner Workflow
- Banner Eprint
- Degree Works (Graduate and Undergraduate)
- IIT CAS (All the services using CAS for authentication)
- ODS/EDW/Cognos (NOTE: These services will not be available until Monday, October 16 at 4 p.m. (CDT))
- TargetX-Banner integration
- ISSM
- Custom applications
- TouchNet
Blackboard and the Virtual Computer Lab (VCL) will not be affected by this maintenance and will be available for normal use. You can log in to Blackboard at blackboard.iit.edu and use your myIIT portal username and password. You can access VCL by visiting vcl.iit.edu/vcl.
