As a reminder, the Office of Human Resources will host the Staff Service and Excellence Awards on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Hermann Hall Auditorium before the Illinois Tech/IITRI Faculty and Staff Holiday Party. Please attend if you can in order to show support and appreciation for our honorees. A link to the livestream will be shared via email on the morning of the event for those who cannot attend in person. Staff who have achieved from five to 35-plus years of service at Illinois Tech will be honored, and you can see the honorees here.
Winners of this year’s Excellence Awards will also be announced. The award recipients will be honored in the following categories:
- Addressing issues related to diversity, identity, inclusion, or other social justice topics
- Implementing innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of university operations
- Developing an innovative contribution to support excellence in teaching and research
- Other outstanding contributions
- Developing an innovative solution that improves the experience of Illinois Tech students (prospective or current) or alumni
