November 25, 2025The Office of the Provost is now accepting nominations for the recipients of honorary degrees that will be presented at Commencement in May 2026. The recipients of the honorary degrees will also speak at the Commencement ceremony. Nominations must be submitted through our online form, and they must be submitted by the end of day on Friday, December 19, 2025. -

Volunteers Needed for Commencement
March 25, 2025Illinois Tech’s 156th Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Credit Union 1 Aren. There will be two separate, combined college-level ceremonies, and at each of these ceremonies, degrees will be conferred for three of the university’s colleges. Chicago-Kent’s Commencement will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at UIC Forum. Please volunteer if you area available to help create a momentous day for our 2024–2025 graduates. -

March 13, 2025Illinois Institute of Technology’s 156th Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Credit Union 1 Arena, located at 525 South Racine Avenue in Chicago. Please RSVP to reserve your regalia no later than Friday, March 28, 2025. Your response is requested even if you own your own regalia or do not plan to attend. -
