Health Coverage Tax Documents Notice
January 28, 2025Due to recent legislative changes, beginning with the 2025 plan year, which impacts 1095-Cs distributed in 2026, Illinois Tech will furnish 1095-Cs only upon request. Please note that all covered and non-covered eligible employees will receive a 1095-C form for 2024 in the mail soon. The notice below pertains to 1095-C forms that will be distributed in 2026 and subsequent years. -

IRS Announces 403(b) Retirement Plan Limits for 2025
November 5, 2024The IRS announced on November 1, 2024, that maximum contribution limits for 403(b) plans are increasing in 2025. It also clarified the extra "super catch-up" amount available to individuals 60–63. -
Tuition Exchange Applications Now Being Accepted
November 5, 2024The Tuition Exchange program is a nonprofit organization of more than 700 colleges and universities that agree to a reciprocal scholarship program. Illinois Tech accepts applications from eligible faculty and staff and their dependents each fall for Tuition Exchange scholarship opportunities at other participating universities. Faculty and staff or their eligible dependents may apply for a scholarship as long as they meet certain criteria. -
Open Enrollment for 2025 Benefits: November 1–15, 2024
October 24, 2024Illinois Tech’s annual open enrollment period for benefits will run from Friday, November 1, 2024, through Friday, November 15, 2024. Changes made during open enrollment become effective January 1, 2025. Live in-person or online information sessions will be held on November 1, 6, and 12.
