Please be aware that the Midterm Course Evaluation Survey for spring 2021 are now open. In order to achieve a good response from students, it is very important that you talk to your students about the survey.

How do you build community? The Staff Advisory Council wants to start by hosting small informal meetings to get to know a department, college, and/or campus. We invite you to join us for our second meeting, where we will get to know the Office of Admissions. Please join here to come and introduce yourself and meet your colleagues from Admissions.

Please join us online for the March Town Hall from 12:30-1:45 p.m. to hear from Mike Horan, Vice President for Finance, CFO and Treasurer, and Mike Gosz, Vice President for Enrollment & Senior Vice Provost. The two will cover the genesis of the Huron Study and discuss how the university responded to the study’s six recommendations. They will also discuss lessons learned from the pandemic specific to our response to the study.

This special session is a collaboration between the Center for Learning Innovation and the Staff Advisory Council.

Both faculty and staff are encouraged to join this virtual conversation with the intention of getting to know each other better and think about the ways we can support each other in our important work.

Illinois Tech’s dedicated TIAA education consultant will be available for one-on-one financial counseling sessions on February 25 (only two slots!), March 11, and March 17.

Nominations are now being accepted for The Richard Babcock Leadership Award, which is given to a full-time outstanding sophomore or junior undergraduate student who has evidenced significant leadership skills in his or her personal and academic life. Submissions are due by Friday, February 26, 2021.
