A number of Student Assistant positions are open for Fall 2022, and the library is seeking candidates who are interested in a variety of work tasks and environments.

The library is seeking outstanding students from all majors to join its Student Assistant teams. Library Student Assistants work both with the campus community and behind the scenes to support the library’s mission and provide crucial services to Illinois Tech. Ideal candidates for Student Assistant positions will be quick learners who have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also essential qualifications for success in these positions.

Positions are available to provide research help, work the main circulation desk, or support the course reserves and interlibrary loan departments.
