The Overnight Library Student Assistant position at Galvin Library is responsible for providing library services during the overnight hours and supporting the responsibilities of the Circulation Department. Student Overnight Monitors must exercise a high level of independent judgment and reliability. The Student Overnight Monitors will provide quality customer service to patrons, work with library materials in all formats, report on overnight activities, and support projects to which they are assigned. This position may open and/or close the library as needed.

Overnight shifts are 12 a.m.–8 a.m. Overnight Student Monitors are accompanied by a Public Safety Officer for the duration of overnight shifts.
