    Donate to Winter Accessory Drive

    Please join the Office of Community Affairs and support the Center for New Horizons for a Winter Accessory Drive. Located in Bronzeville, Centers helps over 6,000 families daily. Please donate new warm hats, gloves, and scarves for infants, toddlers and kids with ages ranging from 5 to 18. Drop off at Michael Paul Galvin Tower, 10 W. 35th St., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday through December 22, 2023.

Campuswide Career Fairs typically draw undergraduates, graduates, and alumni from all disciplines looking for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions.

    MMAE Faculty Emeriti Will Be Honored Friday, November 17

    Directly following the 2023 Annual Nagib-Kalpakjian Lecture featuring guest speaker Scott Smith, the Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Chair Lou Cattafesta will honor the department’s faculty emeriti. A reception will be held in the first-floor atrium following the event. The Nagib-Kalpakjian Lecture will take place on Friday, November 17, from 1:45–2:45 p.m. in room 104 (auditorium) of the Rettaliata Engineering Center. The recognition of faculty emeriti will also take place in room 104 and will run from 2:45–3:15 p.m.

The book offers in-the-moment microskills—little strategies for big relief—to help you recognize and break unhelpful thinking patterns; cope with feelings of sadness, anger, fear, and frustration; engage in healthier behaviors; and improve your relationships.
