Illinois Tech Launches First Official Clothing Drive in Support of New Career Clothing Closet for Students
January 23, 2024The Office of Career Services at Illinois Tech will take another step toward its goal of providing professional attire for students. The program will launch its first official clothing drive in the Career Services Center located in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Room 106 on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -

January 4, 2024The Office of Title IX and HEA Compliance and the Office of Technology Services (OTS) would like to remind you of two important annual Illinois Tech updates and certifications, which you will be prompted to complete the first time you log into the myIIT.edu portal on or after Thursday, February 1, 2024. After completing all of them, you will be logged out of your session and returned to the Access Illinois Tech login page to re-enter your credentials. -

Awards were presented on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in the Hermann Hall Auditorium by President Echambadi and Interim Provost Christensen. Thank you to all of the university staff and faculty who attended and watched via the live stream, making this a very special occasion for all of our honorees. -

December 7, 2023The Office of the Provost is now accepting nominations for the recipients of honorary degrees that will be presented at Commencement in May 2024. The recipients will speak at the Commencement ceremonies. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, December 15, 2023. -

Donate to Winter Accessory Drive
December 5, 2023Please join the Office of Community Affairs and support the Center for New Horizons for a Winter Accessory Drive. Located in Bronzeville, Centers helps over 6,000 families daily. Please donate new warm hats, gloves, and scarves for infants, toddlers and kids with ages ranging from 5 to 18. Drop off at Michael Paul Galvin Tower, 10 W. 35th St., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday through December 22, 2023. -

3rd Annual Holiday Jazz Concert Will Be Sunday, December 3
November 28, 2023The Vanguard Jazz Society and the Office of Community Affairs at Illinois Tech present the 3rd Annual Holiday Jazz Concert, featuring the Jeff Chan Quartet, on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Schultz Auditorium at Michael Paul Galvin Tower, 10 W. 35th St. Set 1 begins at 3 p.m. and Set 2 begins at 4:30 p.m. The event is free to he public, and free parkig is available in Lot D4. No registration needed.
